Car I have had since High School in 1972 I have been known as Doc Mopar since 1969
About this Mopar:
I built my first Muscle Car at age 16. It was a 64 Fury with a wide block 318. I grew up on Woodward Ave in Royal Oak. I got a reputation when that 318 beat a 440 6pack Super Bee. I have owned so many Mopars: 63 Polara 426TMP 13 to 1 comp 4 speed Conv, 65 Satellite 4 speed Console car used by Chrysler Engineers as test car. I am second owner and is mostly Road Runner suspension. Best time at Detroit Dragway with a 391 gear was 11.95
As of today 3,15,2020 it has a brand new 40 over rebuild and no miles. Original 516 heads I gasket match ported. It is converted to EFI, a 509 Purple Shaft cam, roller rockers. Doug Thorley 2' headers, Lakewood 2 pc Bell Scheifer 11" clutch, 68 New Process 4 speed, Richmond 742 with 430 posi.
