About this Mopar:

Hi all,
Purchased car this past July after looking for a year and a half. (after lots of disappointing prospects)
Had 1 in high school , finally after I retired decided I wanted another . (girlfriend thought I was crazy) However when I found this car in New York, a weekend trip was made and here it is . And brought it home on a U-Haul (never would do again,LOL)
Car has build sheet , certicard , fender tag intact , eng., trans., rearend are original to car.( 440,727 trans. 3.23 open rear) Rebuilt of course. I was told body and paint was done in N.C. , but didn't know by whom. I could tell someone spent lots of time doing the work as I did body work and paint also way back in the 70's. Interior is Legendary ,door panels are original , couldn't believe they hadn't been cut for speakers like everybody did . I hope to get with 'crackedback' sometime ,really like what I've seen about his headlight harness.
Car was sold in PA. Jan of 67, owner moved to SC in mid 1970, that's where I assume it spent most of its life as PO bought it from NC. I enjoy reading everything on y'alls forum , hope you find what I'm posting interesting.
One last throwback thing , the Sun Super Tach on the column I bought in 1973 (about $20 )from Mallorys Speed shop in Richmond ,the tach was also in my high school ride ,and it still works perfectly. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful X! Yes, someone did take the time to restore it correctly.

FYI I'm not sure if the front wheel stops on that trailer are adjustable, but if they were, moving the car back a few inches would have lessened the tongue weight and given a better ride home.

Regardless, you made it home without an event. Enjoy!

Congrats on the new toy. Yes it’s done very well! That’s a beautiful GTX in one of my favorite colors!
