1970 plymouth belvedere

About this Mopar:

This is my 1970 plymouth belvedere and a good story behind it. I'm 32 and my dad bought this car in 1980 for 200 dollars and it ran good. He drove the car for about 3 years. He even said i drove it, i was 3. So in 1983 he strated having tranny problems and he parked the car over at a friends to put a new transmission in it. He had put the car on jack stands and removed the trans. He had the new one outside the car and someone stole it along with the crossmember and drive shaft. Needless to say he kinda lost interest in the car. His friend got tired of it sitting there and moved it to some land in Avlin tx that he owned. It sat there until 2009. My dad still kept in contact with his friend. Well, I was at my dads and he called,it was thanksgiving by the way. I said let me talk to him and asked him if he still had the plymouth,he said do you mean Ezmeralda i said yes. He said I sure do. I asked him if i could go look at it and he said sure, so i went. I asked if i could have it back and he said if can get it out its yours. So i did. It was bad but it was all there minus the tranny and crossmember.
