Back into a 69 GTX
About this Mopar:
As a new 16 year old driver, I had a b5 blue 69 GTX back in 1973. I was only able to keep muscle cars for a few years before life forced a more economical life style. Now, wanting to have another one,, I have spent the last 10 years looking for either a builder or finished car that closely matched the one I had. I found this one on-line in Wisconsin the end of February and after weeks of back and forth, finally picked it up the middle of May. I have spent the summer combing over it and doing little maintenance and tuning on it. I will always be tinkering on things but have been able to drive it to a couple of outdoor car shows the end of this summer.
More Mopar to you,,

Time for an update!! I spent some of my winter working under the hood of my GTX. It started with adjusting the 6 pack carbs,, which quickly moved into removing and rebuilding them. Someone had really hacked them up. After cleaning and replacing needed parts,, I moved on to the engine cleanup. That quickly escalated as well! Now it's all detailed and painted. Just got it back from the body shop where they remove some rust from both rear lower body panels. Luckly they were able to just put patches in the black stripe area so not a major job! I'm ready to take it out on the roads soon!
Oh,, and the body color came back as Cat's Eye Blue #3.
