Just call her "Mabel"
About this Mopar:
This 1964 Plymouth Fury coupe was sold in California to a female teacher by the name of "Mabel" and if you look at the ash tray you can see where she had used a label maker to mark the car with her name, the car was owned and driven by her until she couldn't drive anymore due to her health. It was sold to owner two 20 years ago and driven to Las Vegas, Nevada where he completely rebuilt the brakes on all 4 corners, updated the driveshaft to slide in yoke configuration and rebuilt the entire rear end including changing the gears to 3.55.1, unfortunately it doesn't have a sure grip carrier. The engine is the original 361 big block freshened with new valve guides and a new 500 CFM Holley 2 barrel, electronic ignition and a new "Be Cool" cross flow radiator, electric fan and shroud still in the box in the trunk. The exhaust is a new dual exhaust system with Flow Masters and was professionally done. The car has a 3 speed push button 727 and other than possible tune ups it is also original. The interior has been redone with all original materials and patterns from Original Auto Interiors, door panels are from Legendary Auto Interiors with new w/strip and glass run channel. The car is a radio delete and luckily no one mounted an antenna or cut out the dash so it remains stock. The car may need a windshield due to very light wiper scratches (but I will try to polish them out) and it has several small dents, door dings and faded paint but has no rust or body filler. With that being said the car still wears its original paint and while there are a few things that need addressed its a great looking car purchased at a fair price.
The PO mounted American Racing Torque Thrust 15" rims with BF Goodrich tires, re-chromed the front and rear bumpers and the car just looks great due to being garage kept and under a cover for most of its life. Below are photos of how it looked when I bought it, the mileage showing are the original miles, enjoy!
