Sold a 39 Business Coupe to build a "Street Car" in a mild Pro Street look. Strip of the old dark blue/ black vinyl top and added FM3 Moulin rouge. But in a Muscle Motors 11.5 to 1 Killer Krate, (493 cu.in. 689 HP/ 675Lb ft - from 2900 to 6,000 it is at or over 600lbft) so it is a bit "spunky". 9lb. hood, 3lb bumpers, 16 gal Fuel cell,10 point cage,5 point belts, mini tubs, weights 3450 full of fuel. Hit hard 1.46 60 ft., Have a ATC full comp.727 reverse shift manual valve body / 9 inch 4500 stall & 4.56 spool to get serious at strip, but in street trim I use a (built by ATI) =727 also reverse shift manual valve body, 9" 3500 Stall convertor w/4.11 TruTrac, Both pumpkins are for 31 spline axles, both are also 8 3/4's, S/S springs moved inboard 3 inch due to mini tubs, Custom Centerline Drag wheels 15x10.5 (so tires 'just" fit under stock fenders)Removed the 10" drum brakes (front and have 74 Dart 10" disc's) After third round the 10" drums said (Are you Kidding!) Lots or other "safety stuff for street work.
