Just scored my favorite b body of all. And favorite mopar of all, really. 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II.
About this Mopar:
Not a spec of actual rust or rot, California car it’s entire life. Something I’m not used to being a Massachusetts native. Poly 318, 727. Anyone have any tips for me or any help in finding parts I would be extremely grateful. There is a long story behind how I got the car and was able to get on the good graces of the man who was so adamant about selling it for more than I had....well he ended up calling me back and telling me he wanted to sell me the car for the money that I did have. I told him I wanted very much to build this car with my daughter and family...and this was the absolute perfect starter car for me. I’ve never actually seen such a rust free car...every inch of actual rust on the car is merely surface. Headliner was still completely intact and some door panels too. I need help finding a steering wheel some exterior trim accents, like the faux gas cap on the passenger side. Also going to switch the torque thrust wheels (PM me if anyone knows someone who would buy or trade the torque thrusts for steel wheels) to steel wheels with dog dishes, that’s my style. A lot more to say, but I’ll keep it short for now! Thanks for looking, really enjoying FBBO, very helpful and fun.
