My 66 Belvedere before and recent.

This is my 3rd attempt at getting my own mopar. 1st time ended up trading my 67 Belvedere Silver special for a VW for my kid. Second was a way too far gone 1966 Belvedere and this is my final and last try at getting what I want.

About this Mopar:

This is my 3rd attempt at building my own Mopar. Its not working out so well at this point but one day things will pick back up. 1st time ended up trading my 67 Belvedere Silver special for a VW for my kid. Second was a way too far gone 1966 Belvedere and this is my final and last try at getting what I want. I bought this car from a member here. It has 98% good floor pans which is a hell of a start for me. I lost my job so now I had to sell my precious 440 that I built. I ended up getting a 383HP which I also had to sell to keep the bills paid. I know SOB STORY... lol.

So here we are with no engine to speak of but lots of time on my hands. This was my Silver Special.

Dude you started with some pretty rough examples, more than most folks would attempt. Good luck and hope you get employed soon before you have to sell the first born....

Yea my funds are limited to the crap noone else wants to mess with. I cant afford the nicer ones. So bottom of the wood pile I go.

Good luck with your project. Love the '66-67 Plymouth B-Bodies! Need more of them back on the road.

Well done!! It's hard work and remember, if it came in a bottle, everyone would have it!!

Keep at it. Your floors are better than my 65's. Good luck.
Yea the floors are pretty much mint. Both of the other cars needed front pans.. The yellow one needed way more than I was willing to put into it. But it became a perfect parts car for the Turquoise car.

You have come a long way with it since it left my place. I think you will make it on this one.

In my opinion, jobs of this magnitude require a mindset to keep from becoming discouraged. I always use the "how do you eat a elephant", "one bite at a time" philosophy, it helps believe me.
There's one thing this hobby uses a lot of that doesn't really cost anything...elbow grease. Use your extra time to get all the "unsavory stuff done". Pick your battles and work towards small victories, before you know it you've made significant progress that keeps the fire burning. This site is so inspirational, so much unselfish knowledge available with a simple request is priceless...

Congratulations! Always admired a guy that can do decent sheet metal work. Looks like a car ANYBODY would want.

These poor old cars do take a lot of work. But it looks like you are able to do what is needed. Wish you luck and hope you find the motor soon. Good job so far.
