My "New" Old Coronet Basic Gallery

About this Mopar:

Year
1966
Make
Dodge
Model
Coronet 440
I found this original survivor Coronet in Olathe, Kansas in May 2022. It is very close to the car I had from 1974 - 1983. The only differences are that my first Coronet had the black vinyl top and the 318 V8 while this second one has the painted top and the 225 Slant 6.

That is NICE ! I don't think I'd touch a thing, but if those are bias-ply tires, a set of radials would be nicer to drive on.

Thanks so much. I'm coaxing some shine from that original red paint now being careful to protect it, flaws and all. No sir, those are some nice Hankook radials (about 5 years old from records) that drive well. I agree, no bias tires for me, except keeping the original spare in the trunk! I am committed to keeping it as original as possible but making sure it drives decently. I, personally, like cars stock.

Such a beautiful and special 440 just as it sits!! That is a keeper! Glad to hear you aren't going to make any changes.
