Need some help.

Looking to put the stock 10" poverty caps off of my 14" rims onto a 15" steel factory looking wheel.

I have a set of factory mopar steel wheels, but of course they accept the 9" cap.

Any idea where I can get this wheel? Coker's show they have steelies to fit the 9" but no 10"

Thank you!

There was a member selling the wheel centers to do just this.....ill try and dig for the info, unless someone here can help jog my poor memory....

You can "rehoop" the 14" centers with 15" "shells".

1980's 5th Ave is a good donor for 15x7 wheels or shells.

I believe there was an adapter made, and should be searchable on FBBO, but IMO seemed a bit sketchy.

Might be fine, though.

A parts wanted ad may be your best bet. There has been a lot of talk lately about no one making steel wheels any more.

The guy that had the wheel centers retired. Frank Long.
He did buisness with a wheel place in California and one in Wisconsin. It's been a while and I can't remember the details. It was mentioned on a thread a few years back.
I got several sets of inners from frank, they fit perfectly in chev truck outers 7 and 8 inch wide.
Last summer at stillwater a guy had a bunch of rims. I bought 2 14x7 with the small bolt pattern. He built them. Don't remember his name.
Dodge pickups ran 15 inch wheels, in mid 60's, with the 10 inch dogs.
Not real wide but great on the front

I remember Frank. "The Wheel Guy" I believe he went by. Nice fella and did good work.

The best part of assembling wheels is you get to play with the offset somewhat.
Frank's centers were exact, not real close.
I still have a pair.
I'm looking for some 9 or 10 inch outers. In 15 inch
Does anyone know any vehicles that ran steel rims 9 or 10 inch?
The OD of the centers needs to be fairly close to the ID of the outers
At one time the outers were available up to 10 inch.
And yes Frank is a true Gem

I've been down this road, and found a crazy simple solution. I affixed a 9 inch cop cap inside of a 10 inch cap. I explored all the options, and found them all to be way over the top price wise. I made up a simple jig to center the inner cap, inside the 10, which required a wiz wheel to remove a small area of the center of the 9 inch, to bring it to the proper elevation inside. Applied equal, but ample amounts of metal friendly construction adhesive. No issues with balance, or wobble. A decent set of cop caps and tube of adhesive, and a little time and ingenuity, worked well for me. Five years and no issues.
