Right so my new engine is here 512 stroker which came with a tuned 1050cfm brawler carby. The previous engine was a mild 440 with Holley terminator x 4bbl injection, I don’t believe the current efi will supply enough fuel to the new motor. I’m being advised that the carb style efi are no good for me engine pumping out close to 700hp and I need to inject into manifold above the cylinders. Sounds costly and I think will lose too much of it’s nostalgic look etc. keeping an open mind till I have more info on this option.
My intention for car is to be streetable as possible and reliable as practicable. I won’t be taking it down the strip other than maybe once to see what it can do.
Is it going to be better to run Holley carby style efi with the 8 injector throttle body?
Or run the carby with a decent ecu for ignition etc?
And third if I go carby can I use the terminator x ecu to work as it was for sensors etc that’s already there or need to change ecu?
I understand the third question is probably a stupid one.
Thanks
