I am in need of 2 rear drums for my 8 3/4 11x2 1/2. I see Summit has a Raybestos # 2953r but they are saying 3 1/2 wide. Could be a typo? has anyone used these? I can order them and return if not correct. The sales guy said the application is for a 70-74 RR. Thanks.

I've 1 11"x 2.5" measured it seems to be uncut. Would need a cleanup cut. Picture is with tape measure, if your interested I can measure with dial caliper and a picture. Have checked it no but picture. Shipping don't know if it will fit a flat rate box. Don't know shipping if not sent flat rate. PS haven't forgotten that you sent me a nut I needed.

I have a pair, light rust but if you want new Rock Auto has them. The photos are of new ones I bought from Rock Auto, not the ones I have available.

On my 11x2.5 inch drums the machined shoe contact area is 3 inches wide. The surface could be wider depending on how they are made. Rock Auto lists that number as 11x 2.5 inch drums, so they should work.

I just did the rears on my Bee and used Centric drums. I always had a good experience with Centric parts for all my vehicles.

IIRC, the fronts were 3" wide and the rear was 2.5......
