High performance car low performance driver !!, some of the best drivers in the world back in the day, had trouble with the "Real" Ford team race prepped Cobra's, let alone a home built kit version, street tires & {maybe} rookie race car driver... That is one tough camera though

It looks like the front suspension just let loose and the wheels turned on him, you can see him trying to steer but the cars is going right no matter what. if that is one of those kits man he is lucky.

Going 130+ down a track, it doesn't matter how good a driver you are, something goes wrong, which it did, and it all over.

Note to self: Get a 5 point seat belt and a roll bar.

I think it wasn't his time yet. Luck? Maybe not. A lot of us here drag race and several have cars that run into the 9's and that usually equates to 130+ mph. If something goes wrong, the wall doesn't do much for the car or driver and a lot can go wrong. I've seen cars go across the track, nail the wall then go back across the track and hit the other wall. I think we put a lot of stress on our drag cars. We don't do turns but man, we do everything else.

As a side note, my collector car insurance policy ends when my car hits the track.
