Looking for a set (two) of 15 x 8 wheels for my 66 coronet. I have 10 slicks on it right now and need to put streetable tires on the rear axle. Would like to find a set of slotted wheels (police) to match the front, but it's not critical. Would really prefer to pick them up within a reasonable driving distance from the mid michigan (St Louis) area.

I think Chrysler made 15" X 8" Police-looking wheels for late ' 70's Dodge Magnums. However, I don't think they had lugs on them to grab the 9" hub caps. Rare then, rarer now. The 8" wide Ramcharger 4 X 4 wheel has the wrong offset to work well on cars.
I made my own 15" X 8" Police wheels for my 1967 R/T by trimming the Police centres out of a pair of 7" Police wheels. For 8" wide hoops, I found that those white "Wagon Wheels" that Ford put on some of their F150 pickups in '70's and '80's had the right inner diameter to accept the Police wheel centre, as a slide fit, so I trimmed the spoked centres out of a pair of these.
As you know, there is not much room inside a '66-'67 wheel well. I banged the centre into the hoops, and bolted the wheel to the rearend. I did a lot of measuring, and managed to massage the rim so it was centred between the rear springs and inside of wheel well. I did this for both sides, and marked rims as passenger or driver side. Rear ends are never perfectly centred on our B-bodies. I carefully removed the wheels and took them to a local welding shop to true them up and weld them. This was a lot of work, but worked out well for me to mount wide tires on my R/T. Unfortunately, I do not remember offset.

Thanks for the info! If nothing turns up, I'll just go aftermarket since this is a weekend at the track (and occasional local car show) only car. The street tires are so I can get to the blacktop road about a mile from my driveway.
