I have a steel wheel, as mentioned, with a part # not listed in any of my books. It is 2944152, anyone know what it came off of?.
Thanks in advance!.

Looks like there is a "kink" in the outer part of the center about 3/4" from where it joins the rim. Those were used on lots of stuff including wagons and I think some M bodies

I checked my books and got nothing, but I wonder if the M3 is a date code? Being it's a 15" and not an H wheel my guess is early 70's big car. I have a pair of some very similar wheels holding up one of my cars and now I'm curious if the P/N is the same. One set I have that look exactly the same as pictured are 15x6.5.

These are not the "kinky" wheels. My 66 Bel has the Kinky wheels and I've seen those on mid to late 70's Cordobas and similar land yachts. You can sort of see the feature on the front wheels in the pic. By the way, 9x28's fit perfect on 15x8's with 4.75" BS!

Dunno. I haven't ever measured the backspace on the kinked Vs non-kinked to know if there is a difference. All I know is the kinked wheels made it easy to fit a pair of 235/75/15s light truck tires under the back of my 68 440 six pack wagon.
