Hey guys and girls I've been selling off my projects and I'm trying to get down to one project so this one is next on the chopping block. It's a 1947 Buick super two door sedanette project. I have roughly $15000 invested in this one I'll be loosing my *** on this I'm looking to get $6000 out of it. So yeah a $9K loss that's not including my time / labor I have in it. But we all know we're never getting our money back . Anyways the car is a very rare car it has a fully rebuilt fireball 248 l8 and a rebuilt 3 on the tree trans . I also have a rebuilt rear for it too. Along with the big 3 I have all the suspension parts rebuilt and ready to bolt on and I had all 4 knee auction shocks sent out and rebuilt witch was about $1500 just for those to get done ! I've been cutting and welding on this car for awhile most of the metal work is done there's still a few more spots that need help. I have Everything for this car except the flat glass witch is $350 New online . The car needs full restoration and is well worth the work these cars are bringing huge money and keep going higher and higher . The crappy 4 door cars are bringing $30000 now. I sold my first one of these same thing 2 door sedanette for $37000 it was an 80's restoration and needed help but ran and drove and looked decent at 15 foot deff needed paint. But the point I'm making is if it was perfect it would of brought double. Look them up there selling in the
$75-$85K range . The sedanette and conv are the same thing basically they share all the same parts the sedanette us a bit rarer as they cost almost the same as the conv way back when and didn't sell as good . Now it makes them even harder to find.
Let me know if anyone is interested in it it needs to live on to a new home as I'm never going to get to finish it because of my back . I'm willing to accept a trade offer and sell overseas if anyone ove the pond wants it . I'm fairly firm on my price but pets see how I feel that day maybe I'll work a deal or ask for more who knows! Thanks guys for reading
