I bought an rebuild 727TF transmission which came out of an 1960 dart BB.
I hope it will fit without to much hassle.
Anyone has had the same swap?

The 1960 trans is cast iron. The 1960 crank is different than the '62 up crank. The 1960 trans also has the parking brake assembly on the tail shaft. There is no "park" provision in the early trans. The trans has the same bolt pattern as a later one, but will not work in a '62 up application. You must use a '62-'65 trans to retain the cable shift and be able to use the '62 up engine. '65 has a slip yoke while '62-'64 have a ball and trunion front joint.

Hi it's an aluminium trans.also is the parkingbrake located on the same spot as on my 1964 smallblock 727..Wil have a look at the numbers i guess.
Or make some pics.

 Maybe they had updated the trans in the 1960 to a later model. We need pictures!
