1962 Dodge Hood Safety Latch

I know, they didn't have them.

Did the '63's ? '64's did. Has anyone ever put one on a '62 ? I was thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea...

I have been wrong before, but I believe that all '62-'65 use the same latch. I have extras if interested.

Cool, could you get a picture of it, hood and rad support?

Mine dosent have one, never did, no holes either...

I had to go out and check this out again. I'm use to seeing two latches. Now mine only has one but if you carefully depress the leaver it disingauges. Then hold it all the way in it will clear the latching bracket. Two mechanisms in one! You learn something new every day... I guess I already have one, duhhhh!
