The seller is not saying that it's an original max. It might have been a six cylinder originally. See them all the time. Someone has a lot of money in it too...

I'm not saying I don't like it, I just don't like it when cars get "restored" wrong. For example the door panel emblems are in the wrong location and installed upside down. If you don't know or are not sure, do a google search.

I know 4 speed never avail in '62. Non-original key-ring...

Probably loads of things not 100%, but it's a clone and he doesn't claim it to be correct does he?

I like it lots though, and I really like your car too mate.

If we were to be real picky, then it has 6 bolt heads/valve covers and the wrong PCV valve too..

And they didn't put 4spds in them until 63' - but who cares. It is a real beauty..
