Can anyone decode this Certicard from a 1963 Belvedere? Everything I have read says the Certicard didn't start until 1965.

The picture is fuzzy.

What’s the word above the 221? Does it say BODY?
323 TRIM?
XX? PAINT?

Any idea why MMC Detroit says: "The CERTICARD identification card was initiated in 1965?" This is a 1963 Certicard.

I think the answer is obvious. They’re wrong.

DELIVERED= when the owner took possession.

The VIN is evident,

Plymouth, six cyl, 1963 model, built at Lynch Road,

200238 = last six of VIN number

BODY 221 = Plymouth, six, 2 dr sedan
TRIM 323= cloth and vinyl trim, tan
PAINT= XX? Beige
S/1= not sure. Rear axle with 2.76 gears? Does the car have a/c?
T/3 = 6 cyl Torqueflite.

No AC put does have factory power steering and factory undercoating. It is a push button automatic. Trying to decide if it is worth buying. Does have the original dealer sales paperwork. It appears to be all original with 54,000 miles.

Depending on the price and condition, it's absolutely worth buying. Any pics?

$4k price is not bad if the underside is as clean as the top side appears. Great project car.

Count me out then! Be careful! Some one who changes prices when some interest is shown! That's not cool!
