1963 console help

I picked up a '63 console(the short ones) and am going to put it in my '65 because I have buckets and a column shift.
My question is for someone who has one-how do you get the front dome light bezel off? Mine is a bit rusty and I want to soak it.

I had mine apart last year and if I remember correctly I just pryed the bezel off. Take it easy so you don't dent up the surrounding aluminum. I'm guessing yours is a little stuck from corrosion.

So I braved the cold and went and looked at mine. The bezel is held on by 2 tangs on the bezel, top and bottom and there is a small slot on the bezel for a small screwdriver to pry off the bezel. Time to give her a little muscle.
