Just realized I put this in the wrong section originally, so here goes...

I am in the process of restoring the interior of my 1963 Fury as a winter project and have a few questions.

Main question is how to remove the steering wheel. I have never done this before, it's the style with the interior horn ring. I hear it can be tricky and just want to make sure I do it correctly without any damage, even though the main purpose is to replace the wheel with a smaller diameter wheel.

Any recommendations for repairing torn or loose vinyl on the doors and dash? I plan to fix them and re-finish the surface either by painting or dying. Are there vinyl patch kits that can be applied?

I've got all winter to do this right so any help is greatly appreciated. The carpet and seats have already been replaced with new items.

pull out on the horn ring and twist to either right or left .... then get a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel ....
