restoring 1964 Dodge 440 does anyone know what kind of emblem would be on rear trunk pan passenger side left of rear taillight three small holes in tiangle shape (dealer name ?)

It's a cover for the trunk lock and if you don't have one, a new one will be COSTLY and used will be somewhat difficult to find.

I have a 1964 Dodge 440 I am parting out. I am heading to the farm where the car is this weekend and will see what is available. PM me with all your needs from this car, except for the letters for "Dodge" as those are already spoken for. The car is in Deep South Georgia.

Blessings,
Shakota

Not sure if that's what he means... I think he's asking what is to the right of the license plate on the tail light panel.

There are plenty of people on this forum with 64 440's who hopefully can post a pic, I'm not 100% sure so I'll leave it to those who know.

Sounds like it was a dealer emblem... Got Pics of Yours? The Black Car has a dodge emblem where you are talking about three holes...

Guess I gotta pay attention.

I do believe that the black car is a factory Max Wedge 426 car. Is that what you have Polara426 ???

Those all look like 330's except for the first one. 440's had more trim, and had some trims around the license plate area:

Couldn't imagine being a salesman back then. Way too many options. But it sure makes it fun today trying to figure these things out...

Yeah, no kidding! Did you know the reverse lights were an option on the 330s but standard equipment on the 440s and Polaras?

Check out the pic of the black 330 and you'll notice there aren't any reverse lights!

Well my car had a receptacle for trailer hook up in that location. I'm sure it didn't come from the factory like that.

What,s up with the people from Wa. state anyhow? :edgy:
