I need to change the bulb in the drivers side light on my console of a 1964 Dodge Polara 500. I was wondering how to get to the bulb. Do I have to pull the console or does the lens pop out?
Thanks for your help

I changed mine once in my 65 coronet same console I believe don't quote me but the housing had two screws that held it in the console then it just pops out don't remember having to pull the console out to do it I will have to go look at it and check I guess

64 & 65s are not the same. they are close, but they mount differently.

I'm not too sure on that.....bought quite a few 64-65 consoles and they all bolted to the floor in the same spot. Can you show what you are talking about?

I put a 64 console in my 65. I had to put two extra holes in the console compartment to fasten to a bracket on the tunnel. Other than that I didn't see a difference. At least that's how mine was.

Here is the light I'm talking about.

The whole bezel comes off. Just use a screw driver. The lens stays in the bezel.

Correct on the interior lights.
