1964 dodge radiator Question

Who knows if the radiator for a 1964 dodge 440
originally equiped with an smallblock is the same radiator which was in a car like this with a big block?
Anyone got dimensions for both?
If there where differences.

Should be the same.

The upper outlet on a small block is more toward the center of the tank, whereas on a big block, it is on the passenger side. Not a big deal, just need to find the right hose...

They both will bolt in the same, but the small block radiator upper outlet is only 2" off set of center to the drivers side, where the big block is about 6 inches off set. But it will work. A 3 core small block would be great ....

In this parts question and test of knowledge, you all got the obvious correct. Yes they fit the same and top tank difference.
Now put that sb bottom tank in, and notice how the inlet will interfere with the oil filter. The bb one is more outboard.
Its up to you to determine if will be a hassle.
A bb lower tank can be replaced on the core of course.

Thanks for that info:yes:;'splains why even a short filter hits the hose on the Sport Fury(318-to-413 swap). Any other options other than lucking out and finding a real bb rad? I'm sure CultPhoto would be interested as well.

My car is an a/c car;I believe they were 3-core rads,right?

if you need anothe rsmall block rad I have one out of a 63. Look in the parts for sale section. Every thing is cheap and well below the Barrett Javkson minded people way of thinkingg..LOL..
