AWESOME!!! Wish I was around back then.....:)

Great pic. I like how they couldn't get the bumper on straight back then. Fit and finish weren't what they are now.

None of the brand X cars ever saw the front bumper anyway !! I have that pic in 2 of my books. Great pic. Ron

So very true all the way thru the 80's  Nor quality control I remember even Aspens coming thru dealers with Volare side trim and vice versa.

HitIt;look close at the driver's side of the bumper. It looks like it has already been "bumped"-out of position-somewhere on the line. I wonder whose car that was meant to be;I thought all '64 Dodge Hemi cars(sedans) were white, with (if I recall) one or two red ones and one black car. Hmmm...

I can just imagine what the two older gentlemen are saying: "Damn kids and their damn hot rods, always wantin' to just go fast!". You've got that right!

Love the pic and just love description too...Final check..."bumper: yes"...hahah

What an amazing photo! Everything about the car screams horsepower, from the Race Hemi scoop to the skinny bias-ply tires up front mounted on what looks like 4 inch wide Torq-Thust D's.

Wouldn't you love to have been around in 64 to slap down the cash for a shiny new A864!
