Does someone have a picture of what the layout of the trunk items should look like. I would like to mount the jack and spare tire as it should be, but I don't know what pieces/parts I'm missing. Here is what I have:

I have a photo of a 64 Belvedere.Might help.Spare was never out of the trunk.Car had 12,000 miles on it.The jack mounts to the right, should have brackets welded in from the factory to mount.

I wish your picture showed the right hand side a little more. So the part that would go against the bumper is held on where the jack base does at the spare tire?

Here's a pic I found of a 64 Dodge 440 that sold from RK Motors down in Charlotte. They always take a ton of pics of the cars they sell, and if you find one there that was restored close to the factory specs the RK site can be very helpful. :) If you look closely, you can see how the hook and plate are secured inside the spare, and the jack mast is tucked up against the 1/4 panel and inner wheel well. The mast is secured to that wheel well so it doesn't rattle.

Not all 64' Dodges had the spare tire in the same location as yours. The '64 Polara spares were mounted on the 'flat' part of the trunk pan, on the passenger side of the car. Hope this helps....

Yeah, if you look real close you can see the jack post to the right in the same place as Sixpacksteve's photo

Yes, at the bottom of the wheelhouse there is a tab with a hole.A bracket and wingnut is needed. Sorry I sold my car about 5 years ago or I would take more photos.

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm jumping on the opportunity here to ask if anyone has a '64 bumper jack for sale.

I found this for sale on Ebay today. I'm not sure it was originally black like this, but it's a clear pic of the mast retaining bolt and bracket.
