Hi FBBO,

about a year ago I was looking for the right horn ring adapter for my 1964 Polara. I found it, and it's now in my possession. I've discovered that this part is quite rare and not being reproduced. It is needed for a 1964 Polara with the full horn ring, and possibly for other years and models as well.

There is probably always a workaround to replace or bypass this part to secure the horn ring. However, I’m trying to keep everything as original as possible. I now have an original adapter with the part number: Mopar 2405259.

I’ve created a 3D model of this complex part and I plan to either 3D print it or machine it completely out of steel. The 3D printing would be much cheaper, but it's still unclear whether the plastic will withstand the pressure or forces involved. Machining it from steel would be significantly more expensive (around $150 per piece).

My questions to you:

Are there people out there looking for this part and in need of it?
How much would you be willing to pay for this part?

I appreciate all responses, whether positive or negative.

Thanks Yannik
