I am repairing the wiring under the dash on my 64 Sport Fury. I have 2 different wiper switches; 2291688 & 2580174. Both switches are for single speed wipers, although the 1st has 3 terminals and the other has 4 terminals.
I would really like to upgrade to 3 speed wipers with intermittent capability. I understand the motor is a shunt wound DC motor.
Has anyone looked into using “Pulse Width Modulation” to convert the single speed motor to a variable speed system?
