1964 Fury Wagon Rear Window Problem

I have a 1964 Plymouth Fury Station Wagon. The rear window is electric and has quite working. It is in the down position. I have removed the inside tailgate access panel, however, the glass is obstructing me being able to access the motor and wiring. Any suggestions?

I am not for sure how the glass attaches to the regulator, but if you can get the glass off the regulator ,then maybe you could slide the glass up out of your way. It all depends on how it is attached to the glass. Matt

Have you tested the motor? The motor may still be working. You can jump the motor wires directly to the battery, and if it's a faulty switch or wiring from the switch you'll know it.

You should be able to access the wiring by removing the driver side tail light.Ground one battery wire to the body and use the other to check the outside terminals in the connector. One is up,the other is down. You can also access the same three wires from behind the driver side kick panel. If it is a 9 passenger you can go to the switch on the driver side inner wheel house.
