1964 Sport Fury rocker molding installation ?

How do you install the rocker molding and clips. I've got two piece clips. A flat plastic piece and a piece of plastic round stock. From the way it looks, the flat clip is placed into the hole on the body and then the round stock is pounded into the flat clip but how is the molding placed over the clips. I hope that I'm making sense.

You have the right idea. Once the clips are on, then you "pop" the molding onto the clips. They can be a b!tch, but that's how I have done it.
