1965 Mopar 383 Engine date code 10/4/65 - 2468130-6 LL
Professionally rebuilt by Rankin Moters, South Bend IN.
Block and heads were magnafluxed when cleaned.
Keith Black Pistons +.030 over.
Hughes Engines 'Streetable' Cam
Edelbrock Torker 383 intake with Edelbrock 750 Carb.
Forged Crank -.010 with new Clevite bearings.
Crank, rods and pistons were internally balanced.
Heads are not original matching, I believe they are '70 or '71 date codes (higher volume).
Heads had 7 angle valve job to go with new stainless valves.
CAT Roller rockers.
ARP bolt kit.
High volume mechanical oil pump and high volume fuel pump.
Deep sump Oil pan and pickup.
Descriptions are from memory, the folder with all the documentation was lost in a move.
Engine has been stored for 8 years, Crankshaft bolt turns and creates pressure.
I did a lot of research and bought quality parts from Summit and E-Bay to make this a Strong but Streetable Engine.
I estimate over $4,000.00 in quality parts and labor went into this beauty.
Always wanted a Mopar Muscle car (68 Roadrunner) but then 'Life' happened.
My loss is your gain, asking $2,550.00 and will entertain offers. (You can have the stand also.)
