This is a sharp looking car, especially considering it's a '65.

Love those 63 - 65 Rivieras . They looked like a custom car right off the floor.
That clam shell head lamp treatment in 65 was to me the home run on that 3 years before they got fat.
Interiors were ahead of the time also.
Thanks RC.

Nice car, I put one back together for a customer years ago... He'd started a resto through a different shop & when they went out of business without ever saying anything to the customer the car disappeared for four years.... A friend of his spotted it in an alley & called him... He got it back, the body & interior were mostly done, the engine & trans were in a million pieces right down to the carbs, (GS = 2x4bbls) I spent weeks researching & assembling... Honestly I expected it to be faster as I'd heard so much about the old Nailhead Buick engines.... 425 CI 360 HP...

I’ve seen them bring 6 figures on BAT. I like the ‘63 myself. The *** looks much nicer to me but… no hideaways. The lights look great when they open on the ‘65. Kind of like a clamshell.

One of my older sisters boyfriends had one, dark turquoise with a white interior. 425 dual quad. Those clamshell headlights were cool. He beat it to death. It was quick, lots of torque, but I wasn't worried about it beating my 440.

Love the 65 Rivieras especially the GSs
