I picked up a completed 65 413 and 65 PB transmission (splined output) over 20 years ago. I’m not going to use it in foreseeable future so it is for sale. Engine price $500. It has standard bores. 2 cylinders have some rust showing but not noticeable to touch. The worst cylinder is #2 and is in pics. Cylinder #4 has some rust but is about half what #2 has. Just wanted to point this out. The engine is complete with brackets and pulleys but no exhaust manifolds. It has 516 heads. Block date is 5-29-64, casting #2468030. The guy I got it from said he took it out from a 65 Chrysler (I can’t remember what model).
The transmission is complete with torque converter and cables. It will only be sold with the engine. The engine is for sale by itself also. Transmission price $400. Engine and transmission located in Grove City, Ohio 43123.
Thanks for looking

Maybe you thought of it already but posting it on the C-body site would get some attention too. I believe the ‘65 413 had unique motor mounts. A one year only.

That’s a ‘64 carb. Maybe check the pad up front, might be a ‘64. Also, this casting is more often a 426W than a 413. Last, looks like a dual point, maybe not original? But if it is, most likely a police engine if a 413. Scrape the goo off and let’s see the pad.

Yep Thanks. Was on my to do list this morning. Didn’t know about the motor mounts.

Ok, so looks like a ‘65 C-body 413, probably got a rebuilt carb at some point. Distributor is odd to me, cast iron single point? Upside here is that this is absolutely a 426w casting and so can be bored a bunch as desired.
