I picked up this 65 a little over a month ago. It was a survivor and unmolested by the usual culprits and stashed in a barn. Other than the floor pan, the panels are straight. On the lower part of the drivers rear quater there is about a half dollar size patch will need to be deblt with nd it is getting new floors. Other that that, i literally have every piece, clip, wire, etc that this car came with a doubles and tripples of just about every interior piece. This week it is going to get the final breakdown put up on a cart, and sent to media.

I will keep this thread as a build thread for updates and advice.

Thoughts so far?

Sweet!

Looks a little like AndyF's car over on Moparts.

I used to own a set of wheels just like that front one, btw....

Got the lids, back glass (fought me the whole way), bracing and one of the fenders off before the wife told me to lay off the air tools for the night.

Crazy how trends come an go; ironically, the old man who kept it in awesome shape for me put 3 locking lugs on the 1 steelie and didn't have the key. I guess he was proud of it. :)

Well, it worked didn't it!

No one stole that steelie!:laughing11:

Looks pretty solid up front.

Hey 330, I am from Wichita and know quite a few mopar guys down there. The Coronet came from Wichita and the back glass still has the WAM! sticker from the 80's on it; where it will stay.

Good car to start with mate. Makes the job alot easier. i have a similar one being shipped at the moment, same colour too. Cant wait to see what its like under the paint.
Will post pics when it arrives.

Good luck with rebuild

Cool!

I was a member of WAM for a year or so back in the 90's. I used to go to the shows at Sedgwick Co. Park.

I'm trying to recall what happened to my wheels that looked like that (if I sold them or scrapped them) that may just be one of them if the car came from this area!

Its great as you have a real nice car to work with. Good luck with it , Ron

That roller setup looks very similar to what I did for my car, very nice!!
