Hi Dennis
Well countered. It looks like a complete resto job and now we know that it is.
Still, an original 426 Wedge? It would be nice to see this one back on the road.

Here is an accurate description form the Moparts link above..

Dont know if anybody on here is bidding on this but I went and looked at this car today. Seller is basically representing this car as an all original untouched car that has been garaged since 73. That is not the case here. The car was still on the road until 75. It had been involved in crash at some point and the pass side quarter between the wheel opening and door has bondo about an inch thick. The only original paint on the car is the roof. The rest of the car was painted and they just taped everything off and shot it. Lots of runs and huge sand scratches under the paint. The guy has not tried to turn over the engine and is not sure if it is stuck or not. All of the aluminum down the sides, the tail light bezels, the chrome around the wing glasses are badly pitted. Missing the trunk medallion. The back bumper is bent at the bottom and had a trailer hitch bolted to it at one point. Headliner and seat covers are shot. Small dent in the dash board. Body is not rusty but car would need to be dismantled to be cleaned, polished, and painted. It has hit the reserve on his auction but Im not sure if its worth the reserve. Those bidders are thinking this is a clean original paint car and it simply is not. Just thought I would try to help out anybody that was looking at this car.

Glad you described the car! I was entertaining the idea of bidding on it! I think I'll pass on this one. Too bad he's trying to pass it off as totaly orig. I hope who ever gets it knows what he's buying!
