Can someone tell me how the weaterstrip molding is attached to the truck of a 65 Sport Fury with the trunk light switch on the left corner. Ordered two and neither seem to fit??

Reckon you don't have the old strip to view as a guide? I've encountered repro weather sealing to have some variances with the OEM on several areas of the car...ask me how I know! If you have the old seal it helps some to see if the length is close and the width. Some repro seals can have a different configuration like ridging that affects how it sets in the channels. Maddening but some times been able to make it fit suitably. If it's too short could be gentle stretching is doable having a buddy hold it in place if it's too long though fits fine everywhere then you make a cut to size it. My trunk seal starts at the middle rear at or near the latch. With some seals I had to send back for a refund as any fit was impossible! Like the wind lace on mine. If you can photo your situation might have some more info for ya.

Mine appears to be 5/8" wide and fits the lip all the way around. Here is a pic of the area you are asking about. I installed mine about 30 years ago and it was too long and needed to be cut off at the splice point.
