Hey fellas, got a question.

Will front buckets and rear bench seats out of a 1965 Plymouth Satellite fit in a 1965 Dodge Coronet?

My seat frames are rusted out in my 1965 Coronet and there is a set available locally out of a 1965 Plymouth Satellite in decent shape. My thought was to grab them and restore them with new seat covers and foam from legendary.

Will the Coronet restoration covers and foam match up with the frames out of the Satellite?

Thanks in advance for your input, Mike

48 views and no one can answer this question… Thought for sure some one would know this. I will have to wait and see I guess... Hope these seats will work and someone verifies they will before they are gone. Thanks fellas.

I would think they would be the same. Maybe look up floor pans for both. If anything I'll give your thread a bump.

Nobody huh? Guess I will have to go post this question on Moparts and see if they can help. Feel free to chime in if you can. Thanks, Mike

Thanks my friend. I thought this would be a slam dunk question someone would know of the top of their head. Never assume... lol. Thanks for the bump.

66-67 b bodies had the same seat frames. I would think the same would apply to 1965. I suggest you take yours old ones and compare, or measurements and pictures.

Having hunted for a while for different seats for my '63 Plymouth to upgrade for headrests, I ended up modifying mine with later B rests. This involved looking at dozens of seats available at swap meets, etc. taking measurements finding the seat pans considerably wider for the era of my car most notably. Older B's had wider seat pans as I recollect. In any case I'd certainly ask the seller for the bolt spec's width and length a simple question and simple do. My guess is they'd fit. I did an axle housing swap from a '65 Coronet and was a perfect match...

64-65 rear seats for hard tops are the same. 64-65 sedans are the same. Plymouth/Dodge doesn’t matter. Front seats are all the same I’m pretty sure.

Hollander manual indicates buckets will interchange.

Thanks to all that took the time to reply to this question. The guy that had the seats sold them out from under me after we made a deal on the phone and before I could pick them up and pay for them. Hate when that happens... Oh well the search continues. If anyone has a set in decent shape for a reasonable price and heading to the Spring Fling coming up please let me know. Thanks

They should work just fine, the coverings are different btwn Plymouth and Dodge

Still searching? I have a complete passenger side front bucket out of a Satellite. Needs recovered but otherwise good shape. I just wouldn't have a clue about shipping the darn thing.

Thanks for the offer Elwood. I have a set already. Appreciate the offer though, maybe someone else here will take you up on it. Thanks, Mike

I just saw this thread. Since I have both a 65 B/body Dodge sedan and Plymouth wagon I would have told you that the front bench on mine are the same. Just different material. I would assume the same goes for buckets.
