1965 Rear Axle Code

Anyone know what code (number) was stamped on the rear axle tube for the 1965 Dodge Coronet (w/ 3.23gears)? I think it's in the sales code book but can never seem to make sense of the numbers. It's something like "282" or "286". I'm have a stamp made up to restamp the rear axle tube and would kile to find the right number. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply. I THINK the number should come from the Chrysler sales code book. I have a copy of the sales code book somewhere - moved recently and can't find a lot of stuff...
