Hey guys,I'm having issues with both of my Chargers. One is a 66 and the other a 67.The problem is,when I turn on the park lamps everything works like it should, but when I turn the headlights on the front running lights turn off.The turn signals and everything works just fine with the headlights on,but they will not stay on.I wouldn't think anything about it but I was looking at pics of other Chargers and their running lights stayed on with the headlights on.Any help would be appreciated.

Been a Plymouth mechanic in the day and their park lamps in those years didn't stay on with the headlights on.

I appreciate it Santa.I wasn't too worried about it because I know that both cars are still legal to drive around, but after seeing some youtube vids and pics on bing images,I was beginning to think that there was something wrong. Thanks again.

cool!i'll check that out.I have also been meaning to email you about the headlight motors in my 67.the guy i bought it from pulled the pins out so he could flip the headlights up by hand.he didn't go into detail as to why he did that and i have been too busy with work recently to really look at them.

Ok guys, now I'm having another wiring issue. This time it's in the ignition switch. One of the previous owners chopped up the harness and rigged it up to work. When I pulled the gauges out,I somehow pulled the wires out of the ignition switch as well.I could go by a diagram if the wires were not spliced and half way melted.Does anyone have an extra under dash harness or some pics of theirs that I could use as a reference?

Just got the ignition switch wired up,but I lost my running lights.Headlights come on.Both high and low beams, but now the headlight doors will not open.Any ideas?
