How thick is this stuff? How do you apply it.
 
Classic Industries claims that it is 'floating' and grips the floor boards. The old school mechanic working on my R/T thinks it melts slightly (tar) and sticks to the floorboards. I will have to measure the thickness, but would guess it is 1/8" thick and weights close to 18 pounds for the set that includes the driver, passenger, rear and transmission hump.
