For my 40th Birthday, last year, my goddess of a wife purchased me a 1966 Dodge Charger. I came home from the hospital in one in 1970. Wanted one ever since.

Now that I have it, I am all over getting things working nice. One of the things that bothers me is the temperature and oil pressure do not work and was sold to her with aftermarket gauges on the center console. Drives me nuts.

What I would be curious to know is if it is possible to be able to get the parts from engine, harness, and dash (because I do not know anything at this point) to be able to potentially get these units to work. Is there a resource for the debugging of this area of the car? I would be starting from scratch to find out if all the parts are there, how to tell if they work and come up with a list of things to fix.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

66-67 charger registry is one. Those EL dashes almost have "hobby within a hobby" status.

Mark Gibson rebuilds gauges for '66-'67 Chargers. He can help you trouble shoot your problems. There is a lot to learn about the electrical systems on these cars.

Check out Marks website.

Year One has engine and headlamp wire harness, if you need them.
Might aslo want to check out 66-67Charger.com

Someone hear on the forum has parts for the same car, I cant really tell you how to get in touch with him but in the parts for sale thread try asking for dash gauges there or harness parts for a 66 Charger. Maybe he will see it here or there and be able to help, i do believe he had a set of cluster gauges for your car, shot in the dark, but its happened before!
Its not detmatt, he has one for sale but i don't think he will part it out. Hope this helps you some.
