For my 40th Birthday, last year, my goddess of a wife purchased me a 1966 Dodge Charger. I came home from the hospital in one in 1970. Wanted one ever since.
Now that I have it, I am all over getting things working nice. One of the things that bothers me is the temperature and oil pressure do not work and was sold to her with aftermarket gauges on the center console. Drives me nuts.
What I would be curious to know is if it is possible to be able to get the parts from engine, harness, and dash (because I do not know anything at this point) to be able to potentially get these units to work. Is there a resource for the debugging of this area of the car? I would be starting from scratch to find out if all the parts are there, how to tell if they work and come up with a list of things to fix.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
