Looking for one or two of the bushings that slide on the rod that passes thru the rear seat backs and sits under the release lever.

For which year?

My apologies. I assumed you were working on one or the other, not both.

Just working on a 67 at this point.
Ok, i was just talking about this with my brother, he found that there was a bushing size change somewhere in between, not sure on the production date.
Most people wouldn't know, because how often do you change rear seat bushings.
Maybe @440 4 speed would chime in. He may have some laying around.

Well I ended up pulling the bushing out due to re-upholstering the seats and new carpet. They can be rather fragile after 56+ years. Appreciate the help in maybe locating some.

That is where our colder climate helps to prevent premature deterioration on plastic and vinyl parts. Some parts of Canada don’t have the same rust issues as others.

Seems like a piece that could easily be replaced with a aluminum spacer...If you have the dimensions I could make ya a few...

The ones in the package I got from some business in California years ago. The loose ones were copies made by a friend, from rod I got him. He also made headlight bushings for me. Had to replace one bushing because it had been damaged before we bought the car.
Now someone can start making these and overcharge.
