Somehow I missed taking pics of letter H. Here they are.

The M won't go on a 66 hood don't think 67 hood. One Pin is offset, sorry for lousy pic of 66 M. The top pic right pin isn't touching surface. Bottom pic pin on right is lower than left pin.

I replaced my 66 letters this week and my 'M's look like this, with the pins even.

Believe after 67 they made them even on all letters. I ordered a set of NOS 70's something plymouth that had the letters on the trunk. The M had non offset pins. Recently was able to buy a really nice M with offset pins on ebay.

Don't know what to say if you have a 66 hood with straight pins.
