I recently found this Satellite in a shed the car has been sitting since the mid 70's. My brother.in.law has the car and has plans on restroring it.

The obvious is the car has a Poly 318, floorshift auto trans, PS, PB, PW, AC. I don't see any visable signs of floorboard, trunk or subframe rot on the car,the underside of the car was slathered in undercoating. The car has 78,000 mile on the odometer which I believe is correct , when I removed the right rear drum (because it was stuck) I had to remove two of the wheel stud clips that hold the drum on at the factory.

I have attached a picture of the fender tag can someone decode it for me? The broadcast sheet has also been found behind the rear seat but it is in PDF and I don't know how to post it. What would VIP on the broadcast sheet mean (it is in the remarks field)?

Top row and second row- A6= console, B4= buckets, tO= either sales bank car or new car service with a full tank of gas.
3rd and 4th row- AB41= 318 poly, C5= torqueflite auto, G1= 26" radiator, K8= power windows or H.D. drum brakes or power deck lid, R1= economy am radio, S1= A.C. w/heater, Y2= conv. top white.
Scheduled prod. date of Sept. 16th `65, and then it appears to be white with red interior.
NICE FIND!!!!!

Thank you! the K8 in this case is power windows.

Does the VIP on the broadcast sheet mean anything?

I don't know about the VIP on the B.S., but I'd like to see a picture of it. I may be able to show it to a couple of people that might know what it meens.

Can you find any more!!?? NICE!

Do you have any interest in a 1968 Chrysler 300 convertible ( 440ci 4BBL, auto, PS, PB, PW)? This car has also been siting since the mid 70's but it has some rust here and there and has liite crash damage to the drivers fender header panel and driver front corner of the hood. the right rear wheel is removed to free a stuck brake assembly.

The interior is cleaning up well, the black tar like coating on everthing seems to be coming off, it's unfortunite that the drivers bucket has a blown out side bulster. The rotted carpet was removed, the floor looks to be in great shape especially for a convertible.
