Well, Crank is saying 67-69 steering columns and I believe that is either Dodge or Plymouth B-bodies. Obviously, the best would be a floor shift column/manual column, but those have become very popular & "somewhat" hard to find.
The cheapest/easiest column to get would be for a column shift/automatic & that would work too. You would have a "PRNDL" thingy that you don't need, but I believe someone started reproducing floor shift "collars" to replace it if it bothers you. You'd also need to buy a "power to manual adapter" if you went that route (maybe $50?) This is basically an extension for the steering shaft itself since the power steering shafts are a few inches shorter than manual steering shafts.
67-69 will interchange? I've been told that 67 internally is the first year of the collapsing column and is a one off type year and much more complicated then late years.
I want to swap to power steering so that gives me more options too.
I have a 67 charger floor shift PS column for sale.
PM for price
I'm going to Hilton Head on March 31 to April 3rd.
I am driving.
I can bring it, if your close?
