I have been attempting to avoid this day for a while now but sadly I am going to have to part with my car. This has been a 3 year labor of love to get to this point. I built this car the way I wanted because I intended to keep it for the next 30 years but life gets in the way.
The car started life in a barn in Illinois. I am the second owner of the car. It had quite a bit of rust that was repaired with all steel. Everything has been gone through. The rear axle was rebuilt with new wheel bearings, brakes and seals. The front end has all new bushings and joints, new shocks etc. The Engine is a 2003 5.7 (345hp, 375 ft-lbs, 345 ci) Hemi out of a Dodge Ram (gets 21 mpg hwy), the transmission is an NV3500 5 speed out of a 2001 Dodge Dakota. The driveshaft was custom made for this application and I hand made the motor mounts and trans mount. I replaced the brake and fuel lines with all new materials, the fuel pump is an in-tank and is brand new. The engine is controlled via a hotwire harness coupled with a ron francis chassis harness. The gauges are brand new ($700+ worth) of speedhut gauges with a gps speedometer that works awesome. The wheels are cop car wheels which were sanded and painted. The tires are a few years old but have 95% of the rubber left to them. Rear end is a stock 741 carrier with 2.94 gears.
The interior is not finished, it still needs a headliner, seat covers, and maybe door panels. I have the replacement brand new carpet for the car still in a box. There is so much I could say but this would become a novel. The only thing I have to note is that toward the end of the driving season I got some strange noise in 5th gear highway cruising. It never seemed to cause anything and went away after the trans warmed up. I would encourage a trans rebuild eventually if it becomes worse but I won't discount my price any further because of this.
Please review the build thread if you are truly interested. Like I said, this car was built the way I wanted it to be and I did not do anything half assed.

The engine picture is older, apparently I haven't taken a new one after.
I am asking $17,000. The car is located in Luxemburg Wi.
Thank you for all your support FBBO! This has been a wonderful experience (well except for having to sell it)
