Does anybody know if anybody reproduces trim clips for a 67 Coronet Deluxe? I haven't seen any available anywhere and just wonder if I am looking in the wrong places.

Or it explains why most Deluxe cars I have seen are devoid of side trim.

A lot of people don't bother fixing the side trim on a lot of cars for the cost. Try RT Specialties for the clips.

Thanks, I'll try looking through all of those. I know Classic Industries catalog didn't have them.

As far as "fixing" my trim....doesn't have a single dent in it...so its a no brainer to want to put it back on.

Don't toss the trim KB - you may be able to adapt something. My 2 cents.

Send it here!

Well if yours is that nice, I don't think we should trust you with it, probably best to send it here and I'll worry about the clips. Besides, with all that Hemi power the trim will certainly peel off at speed and get ruined anyhow! :toothy10:

Seriously, please let me know what you come up with, I will need some for my pieces since I'm going to try to straighten them myself (and by 'straighten' I mean mangle/butcher/hack/destroy). :black_eye::fucyc:

hahaha. I intend to put it back on. if I can't get the plastic clips I will find a way to use the metal clips and just have to contort myself to get the nuts on inside the quarter panels behind the windows.

i should also point out my 67 trim is way different then your 66.

Ya know I still haven't found the proper clips. I am starting to think nobody makes them! They do make the metal ones that use nuts to hold on and I may have to just use a bunch of those and take off the interior panels to bolt them on through the quarters.

Well, that blowz. Here we have someone trying to save their trim and might have to drill holes to do it! Heck, I'm thinking of filling the holes and moving on. :fucyc:

Trust me its crossed my mind, actually I haven't re-drilled holes where I have replaced metal yet because I have not made an official decision.... I want to save it but also don't want to have to bolt it all on. I wish I would have been a bit more careful with those old clips, probably could have saved a few but never guessed they wouldn't be re-made...but all of the other trim I have seen is completely different then the 67 deluxe....hmm

Fasteners and clips

Have you checked with these people??
They have a great selection all kinds of clips and fasteners.
Do you have any pictures of any surviving clips and dimensions?

Have you checked with these people??

I think I may have looked through but I will take a second look. I don't have a picture right now but there are still two peices of trim on the car so I can take pics of those. Most got killed/removed when I was fixing the rear quarter rust. It will be spring before i can get to the last clips for pictures.
