I've seen a few posts here about upgrading tires on 15" wheels, but wanted to see what size tire I can fit on my stock 14" wheels on my 1967 GTX without modification. Any help here? Thanks!

I suspect that you would be limited in your selection of tires although back in the day youwould upgrade to F or G60-14. Radial equivalent would be about a 215 or 225/60-14

Thanks for the help. I have R78 14's on it now. Bias ply tires. Probably 35 yrs old. Probably time for a new set.

i fit some 235 60 14 on a 67 coronet.same wheel well.but they were on 68 charger wheels, not sure if offset is the same.they were very short as well.235 width seems to fit good though.

I know you would have no problems with a 15x7 and 225 70 15 tires as I have had them on a 67 coronet. I believe you wouldn't have issue either with a 235 70 15. the 225 looked small in my opinion.

If you chose to go with 15's and like magnum 500'S I have a excellent set that can be had. I had them on my 69 satellite for just a short time.

What BS are your wheels? I am trying to find out if I can use 225/70r15 on my 15x6 4" backspace magnums. on a 67 Coronet.
