1967 Plymouth GTX Dash Color Code

Hello,
Looking for assistance. Trying to find a color code for the dash of my '67 GTX. The interior is the copper color, but the dash is a contrasting sort of Maroon color. No where can I find any information. Fender tag in place, but that doesn't help.

That’s very unusual. Doubtful that is factory but I’ll be curious to see what turns up from other members. The car is otherwise white on light copper, correct?

Usually the metal door uppers are painted the same colour as the dash lower. The top of the dash usually has a satin finish.

Your steering column looks like the correct color. Your dash frame is a wrong color. This is what the dash should look like.

The dash frame and column are the same paint and are flat. The door frame paint is gloss.

On these cars the entire dash frame is painted the same color.

My unmolested '66 YY1 (I know it's not turbine bronze) Coronet has a smooth, metallic column but a rough semi-metallic dash.

So does my unrestored blue 67 wagon.

I've seen that on other unrestored cars as well.

1966 has a gloss column just like the upper door frame paint and color.

Yet another difference from 66 to 67.

as some know the 66 column is not collapsible, it is smaller diameter, it mounts to the dash differently. The differences continue on to the turn signal switch and lever, and column shifter lever and PRND21 lens and housing is different.

By law there was no more solid columns in 1967 model year vehicles. So if it has a 66 column is was swapped later.

metal dash is supposed to be lacquer paint with no gloss. brown kinda darker with rough texture. console came in a borwnish marroonish color originally in my car. I have a 67 gtx with original worn out interior with copper seats and door panels. I looked at a ton of pics and restored mine as best I could color wise. there is a bunch of 67 copper int 67 gtx's on line and most have console done in copper but not all. I don't know if copper console is factory but I know my console was not copper. I'm not an expert but got a lot of good advice from some. hope that helps
